STart CAMP — offers three projects each week and is designed to engage CAMPers entering grades K-5. In this program, CAMPers rotate in small groups to each of the three multi-medium art projects every day and Body Movement & Games, all five days of the CAMP week. This is a structured environment that offers developmentally appropriate challenges and levels of materials usage for young makers and artists, and is well-suited to the creative needs of these ages. With a 1:5 staff to CAMPer ratio, your child will have plenty of support to complete projects. CAMPers will have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of fun activities, including making Rainbow Loom creations, friendship bracelets, playing board games, dodgeball, banana tag, and more!

Stitch Magic! -Step into a world where thread and yarn become your paintbrush! In Stitch Magic & Fiber Fun, we will learn how to weave, wrap, and stitch beautiful designs. Campers will master basic, easy-to-learn embroidery stitches (like the running stitch and the French knot) to create colorful patches, wearable art, and mini wall hangings. We'll explore texture, color mixing, and pattern design using soft fibers. This hands-on class is perfect for anyone who loves crafts and wants to create unique, fuzzy masterpieces to take home!
Teaching Artist: Miranda Robbins

Comics - Come join us in an exploration of comics creation with an emphasis on experimentation. We will be creating our own comics using a variety of techniques including collage, painting, xerox, tracing, photo techniques and more. At the end everyone will walk away with their own unique comic.
