STart CAMP — offers three projects each week and is designed to engage CAMPers entering grades K-5. In this program, CAMPers rotate in small groups to each of the three multi-medium art projects every day and Body Movement & Games, all five days of the CAMP week. This is a structured environment that offers developmentally appropriate challenges and levels of materials usage for young makers and artists, and is well-suited to the creative needs of these ages. With a 1:5 staff to CAMPer ratio, your child will have plenty of support to complete projects. CAMPers will have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of fun activities, including making Rainbow Loom creations, friendship bracelets, playing board games, dodgeball, banana tag, and more!

Cardboard Garden -Grow your own garden with cardboard plants, flowers, bugs, birds, and anything else we can think of! We’ll cut, paint, glue, and rip up cardboard to make a one-of-a-kind botanical paradise!
Teaching Artist: Jennifer Linderman

Wimmelbilder: Drawing the Busy World -What secrets are hiding in your drawings? Wimmelbilder: Drawing the Busy World is all about creating incredibly detailed, crowded, and imaginative scenes that tell a thousand stories! Inspired by classic European picture books, campers will learn techniques to fill every corner of their paper with funny characters, tiny objects, overlapping buildings, and hidden visual jokes. We will focus on planning big scenes, adding tons of mini-narratives, and developing the patience needed to craft a beautiful and complex "busy picture" that viewers can explore again and again. Get ready to draw your own vibrant, action-packed world!
Teaching Artist: Joel Skavdahl
