CAMP 510’s Site Director embodies the values and spirit of CAMP and is the point person for families and CAMPers throughout their time at CAMP. Their primary role is getting the day going in the right direction for everyone, and to keep it fun and safe throughout the day. They have a team of Counselors and Jr. Counselors to assist them in their duties, as well as an Afternoon Coordinator who takes over the baton each afternoon.

Nuts and Bolts of the role of ‘Site Director’
Some of your responsibilities include: overseeing the morning check-in; delegating counselor assignments; ensuring camper safety and well-being throughout the day; checking in with and coordinating with Teachers, Counselors and JC's about staffing; supervising snack prep, service, and clean-up; and overseeing all the "side work" of opening and running the camp each day.
You'll be involved in and responsible for handling first aid events, resolving conflicts, and offering moral support as well as some light administrative paperwork. In addition, you'll make sure each day is documented by photographing and video-ing studio projects, and run Counselor/Junior Counselor staff meetings each week.
You will mentor, train and support the Junior Counselors and Counselors on our team each day. You should be prepared to receive the adoration of many campers (and their parents) as you serve everyone with care, skill, exuberance and joy. We hope you'll have fun, learn and hone some new skills, and be inspired by your time at CAMP 510.
The Site Director reports directly to the Camp Director--manages and supervises Counselors and Junior Counselors, and advises and supports Teachers as needed. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of campers every day as part of our management team. You will be forging and sustaining relationships with parents and family members, who have entrusted CAMP 510 with their children. You'll work 6-8 hours/day, Mon-Fri starting at 8:00 am, for seven weeks, June 1-22nd and July 20-August 5. Additional required training hours will take place before camp starts. Load-in/Load-out will take place May 31st and August 7-8th.

Can see the big picture and is a leader who can assign duties to your team to get all the essential tasks/projects completed on time
Fluent with the most basic software and technology; smartphones, laptops, G-Suite (google docs, sheets, gmail, etc), Microsoft Office, etc.
